Diane's background information......

Who Am I Anyway?
I was married very young at the age of 16 almost.  Left school to be married.  So of course I did not have any College Education when I suddenly became a Single Mom with about 5 kids after 16 years of a violent marriage.  The State of Oregon was very kind to me and helped and worked with me to make me as employable as they could, with their limits being me.

I began working for Evergreen International Airlines in McMinnville OR and they gave me an extremely wonderful opportunity to learn.  What I was able to absorb there is in my opinion far more than books and classrooms could have given me.  They truly helped to mold the person I am today and am still becoming.  After about 10 years I left there, holding a great position that required education and skill far beyond what I was educated for.  There is often favor given that one does not understand and cannot explain,  Thus was my time with Evergreen a reflection of that.

My own personal journey out of healing through abuse and addiction cycles really began, once I was quiet and not working everyday.  I spent the next 9 years in therapy.  At the close of that time I was able to be employed for about 5 years in the Mortgage Industry and then again came back home.  Then together we began the Internet Services Business which we operated about 6 years. Again this favor thing was very evident in the business and all the places and things I experienced!

We closed that business in July of 2003 upon the prompting of God to prepare for Fulltime Ministry, for me, and of course because I am married for my husband, Bob.

It was then that God began to talk to us about this change of direction for our lives and through that period we were directed to open and run for nearly 4 years a Ministry we call Stormwalker Recovery.  It was our home opened to idividuals who were in various stages of recovery.  Recovery from the stuff of life, drugs, alcohol, pills, each other.....we had the honor of putting over 40 adult men and women through the program, worked with many wonderful folks from the community, Probation, Corrections, Court Systems, clinical providers and learned way more than we ever dreamed we could.  Favor, finding yourself in a place or position that you did nothing to deserve.  That journey came to an end in November of 2007.  But the adventure is not over....
